Small figures of children and young girls, caricatures of people and animals drawn from the rural world, including a successful series of donkeys, or the village life and the town, with a large repertoire of motorcyclists in a sidecar, musicians and bands of the navy, the Carabinieri and jazz band. The Museum of Ceramics in Deruta presents the exhibition “Small ceramic sculptures from the deposits of the museum 1930 – 1950”, which will open on Friday, August 30 at 18 hours and will be open until 6 January 2014.
More than one hundred works, mostly unpublished, testify a successful production of small ceramic sculptures produced by the factories of Deruta and Perugia CIMA between 1930 and 1950 for the Perugina luxury packaging.
